This is a somewhat open course, but five holes are tree lined and there is a defined cut of rough bordering all the fairways. The course was built on mountainous terrain, so expect some uneven lies. There are sand bunkers on the course, and the water hazards come into play on six holes. The large greens are undulating and fast. This is a very scenic course full of panoramic views of the countryside and there is wildlife to be seen as well.

Excellent Course, May 15, 2004 |

| Cut in the Northern PA woods, Jackson Valley is a challenging course that, in the summer time, is an excellent value. In the early spring the course if often too wet to enjoy, but in the summer it is one of the area's better, if not best, courses. |

Hills galore!, May 02, 2004 |

| I grew up playing Jackson. It was always a fun, tough test but the conditions of the place varied over the years. The new owners have done a great job with the place. I went back recently after a 5 year absence and was really impressed. Lots of improvements make the place a fun, tough test again. If you like hills and elevated shots with beautiful fairways and FAST greens, head to JVCC. |
