This course was built on hilly terrain. The greens are undulating and some are elevated. There are two holes that require shots over water to the greens. These water hazards come into play on hole #14, a 460-yard, par 4, and #15, a 206-yard, par 3. Thirteen holes have fairways with dogleg configurations.

Great Value and Fun, Apr 05, 2004

Even this early in the season the course is in good shape - except for one tee box. The course is both challenging and fun. It has a good balance of up/down, straight, wide and narrow holes. Friendly people, easy to get a tee time and they have a Pro.

"Good course for the money."
Played this course a couple of times last visit to area. Was always use to paying $70 plus at other courses. Was surprised and enjoyed this course. It just goes to show that you don't have to spend big bucks to enjoy a round of golf. Will be playing this course again when I come down this spring.

This is a majestic golf course. The layout appears nestled in the pines and marshes with little man-made interference. It is a tough test from the tips, yet fair. There are no gimmicky holes as the course is right before you. You just have to execute the shot.

Tierra del Sol Golf Club
"Played Tierra del Sol many times"
Tierra del Sol is an excellent test of any golfers ability. Several holes present outstanding challenges with water, out-of-bounds, undulating terrain, and several difficult (blind) tee shots involved. The course becomes even harder when wind comes up as it often does in this Mojave Desert community. This is an outstanding course to play for the money. Only lack of conditioning excellence on some holes keeps this from rating higher.
