This course's fairways are in excellent condition after the club spent $400,000 on a new irrigation system in 1996. The small greens are undulating and well maintained. Water hazards come into play on six holes and sand bunkers are spread over the entire course. The Eastern North Carolina Senior Tournament is hosted by this club every year.
