This is a course where the front nine is more difficult than the back. The terrain is flat, and the fairways are tree lined. There is some water that comes into play on the back nine. During the summer of 1997, three of the course's most difficult greens were rebuilt. Al Zikorus designed the back nine, which was added in 1980. "Golf Digest" rated this course as the 5th "Best Public Course" in the state for 1996.

| They have changed the front nine to the back nine here and these greens are some of the most difficult you will ever face. Honestly, they tend to make good putters look like beginners. from the back tees, this is a tough test and if you shoot within 5 shots of your hdcp, then you have done very well indeed. |

| This is the best course that I have ever played in my entire life. Who wouldn't want to play a place where good shots are rewarded? The course is challenging, yet fair. By the way, I shot 103 the last time I came and had a great time! New best for me at a course other than my home of Chanticlair. |

| Nice Course but the Greenskeeper thinks it is a 5 star resort. Get some rain, Close greens in July. Call before you go if it rains. |
