This club has three nine hole courses that are played in three eighteen hole combinations. These hilly courses feature medium to large-sized greens. All three courses are scenic and well maintained. Recently, the club added an additional nine holes, a couple of bridges, and remodeled four holes on the Westwood Nine. Two holes on the new nine are highlighted by their peninsula greens. The Lakeview Course is the oldest of the three nines.

I played all 27 holes and they were all in the best shape of all the courses i have played this summer. The experience started with the great staff that they had. With the rolling terrain and a few links type holes, I would recommed this course to everyone. I will come back again and again.

Montecito Country Club
"My first course"
I grew up playing MCC. The main criticism of the track has always been that you never get a flat lie, which is often enough true, but a weak criticism nonetheless. When typically fast the greens are challenging (hint: everything breaks toward the ocean); on #13, if you don't keep it below the hole, any putt you don't sink will wind up all the way at the bottom. The course favors a longer driver, and offers plenty of challenge and opportunity for creativity. And you can't beat the view of the Pacific.

This course is an exceptional test of golf and a truly pastoral experience. The elevated tees provide scenic vistas and wonderful backdrops. The clubhouse, restaurant and staff are first class and lend an air of pleasure to the overall day.
