The signature hole is #15, a 493-yard, par 5, requiring an approach shot over a lake in front of the green. You may wish to lay-up on this hole, but long hitters can't help but think they can get there in two shots.

A nice little course, Mar 17, 2004

The clubhouse staff is friendly, the course is very playable, and the price is VERY affordable. Recent rebuild of the course has greatly improved the course, with placement of water and traps in positions that will challenge the skilled player from the long tees and not discourage the average golfer from the middle tees. I've played alot of courses in far worse condition....at twice the price. This course really gives you value for your money.

"Not bad..."
For what it is. Your not going to have clubhouse attendants or anything like that. But, all in all, for a nice, inexpensive day out on the course, you can't beat this place.

"One of the Best I've played"
I had a wonderful time playing Cameron Hills last season. I found this shorter course was both enjoyable and challenging. This is my first year swinging a club and I have visited several courses. I felt this course allowed me to play a challenging round while improving my skills without the frustration of the harder courses. Even though Cameron Hills is an hour away from home, I plan on making a couple of trips to the links this year. I played the course right after Hurricane Isabel played through and the only problem I had with the course was the debris from the hurricane. I don't hold that against Cameron Hills, they made a good attempt at working around the fallen trees. Thanks for a great time, I'm looking forward to visiting again.

"Quick eighteen"
This course is short, but what it may lack in length it makes up with difficulty along the course. Fast greens and sloping fairways provide players with challenges every time out. Throw in some wind and you are playing some real good golf if you can break eighty from the back tees on this Par 69 course. Fun course with good people in the Pro Shop make this course a great place to play.

"The Golf Club"
True test of golf that will require a player to hit every club and shot in the bag. In order to score well plan on driving the ball in the fairway and keeping the approach shot below the hole. The greens have very settle breaks and are best read from behind the hole. The caddie master who calls himself "Gunner" is a throwback to another time, a huge drinker who needs to learn to keep it between the lines.
