This course has narrow fairways and fast greens. There is water that comes into play on a few holes. The signature hole is #16, a 467-yard, par 4, requiring a tee shot over a lake to a narrow landing area. This club was originally founded in 1895 and has been listed by the USGA as one of the first 100 clubs established in the U.S. In addition, it was recognized by "GOLF Magazine" in their 1995 list of "The First 100 Clubs in America."
