This club has two regulation eighteen hole courses. The Blue Course is very scenic because of its wooded terrain and water hazards. The Red Course plays longer than the Blue Course and also features water hazards in play on a few holes. The ladies tee off from the same set of tees as the men on the Blue Course. This club was originally founded in 1892 and has been listed by the USGA as one of the first 100 clubs established in the U.S. In addition, it was recognized by "GOLF Magazine" in their 1995 list of "The First 100 Clubs in America." Junior, twilight, and early bird discount rates are available year-round; please contact the pro shop for more information by calling (973) 881-4922.

Gluttent for punishment, Oct 10, 2008
reviewer: David from Wayne, NJ
I grew up in Wayne, N.Y. and probably have played this course close to a hundred times. Yes, the front nine on the blue course has possibly the worst ground conditions of any course in New Jersey. On a hot sun-baked summer day you literily need a hammer to put your tee in the ground! If there is any grass on the fairway at all, it will surely be stubby and burnt. The design and layout however is classic and challenges your iron game. The back nine is in much better condition and overall the course has a charm to it. Worth a play on a weekday summer afternoon if you're feeling nostalgic.

A lovely place to Play golf for all levels, Sep 30, 2005
reviewer: Blooby Flonk from Upper Saddle River, NJ
I am not sure what this guy before me is thinking, but this golf course offers beautiful scenery, great, challenging holes, that keep you entertained througout the 18 holes. Just because Mark O'Meara up here shot a 490, doesnt mean the course is bad. I strongly recommend you go to this course.

A park with golf cups!, Aug 07, 2005
reviewer: NJ Golfer from Northern NJ
This is by far the worst kept course in the northeast. Greens & fairways are burnt-up most of the season as well as very unkept. Tee boxes are in poor condition. Overcrowding & slow play prevails. Not very challenging.
