This club has two regulation eighteen hole courses. The Blue Course is very scenic because of its wooded terrain and water hazards. The Red Course plays longer than the Blue Course and also features water hazards in play on a few holes. The ladies tee off from the same set of tees as the men on the Blue Course. This club was originally founded in 1892 and has been listed by the USGA as one of the first 100 clubs established in the U.S. In addition, it was recognized by "GOLF Magazine" in their 1995 list of "The First 100 Clubs in America." Junior, twilight, and early bird discount rates are available year-round; please contact the pro shop for more information by calling (973) 881-4922.

Don't waste time or money., Sep 03, 2009

The red course is ordinary, although long, for anyone who shoots 100 or less. It does flood easily and often requires you to cut out the middle nine holes and play twice. The tees are a disgrace as well as the bunkers and general maintenance. It is overplayed as they do not reserve tee times and play is slow which causes backups. They also do not accept credit cards. Tip: Check out the Morris County courses.

Best county golf course in Passaic County, Jun 14, 2007
reviewer: Chris M from Wayne, NJ
I started playing at the Passiac County Golf Course this year. It's a very nice course. The fairways and greens are well taken care of. The people that work there are very nice. If you want to play some golf and you are in Passiac County, the Passiac County Golf Course is the place for you.

A water hazard!, Aug 07, 2005

Like it's sister "blue course", the red course at Passaic County is also one of the worst kept courses in the northeast. If not under-water, soggy or drenched, the greens & fairways are burnt-up most of the season as well as very unkept. Tee boxes are in poor condition. Overcrowding & slow play prevails. Not very challenging.
