not fair to women golfers, May 29, 2009

This course obviously caters to the men because the yardage for the women on most holes doesn't even come close to matching the yardage on the card. How hard is it, since you're renovating the course anyway, to pile up a little dirt on these holes and make a tee for the women. Give me a break!

Riverside Country Club
"Nice Course tough lies"
When you play this course be prepared to have a hilly lie on most fairway shots, especially on the back nine. The undulation is remarkable and this course gives an average player a run for his/her money. Mid summer the greens can be unforgiving, but still playable with corect club selection. Altogether a course well manicured and the added bonus of having a complete opposite feeling when playing the front nine and the second nine.

"Tough Day"
I played this course with my brother,(scratch) on a Saturday in September 2003. We found it easily, we paid and went thru the rather surly starter and we were off, there wasn't much of a wait on the first tee. The first couple of holes were standard, it was a rather breezy day so I was really challenged to keep my ball on our the fairway.(this would be my problem for most of the round). Nice elavation changes, and the course looked great compared to it's neighbor,(whitetail). Dogs and beer at the turn. The back nine was just as nice as the front. Immaculate greens with challenging pin positions. Afterwards it was a couple of more beers and burgers at the lounge. Good food. If we had more time we would have gone to their fine dining restaurant, got a glance at their menu, looked really nice. great sunset too! Overall a great day.
