This course has both narrow and wide open fairways. Since the greens are large and fast, three putting is a common occurrence. The back nine has narrower fairways than the front nine, plus a river flows throughout the entire course and comes into play on several holes. Only guests of members are allowed to play nine holes of golf. The green fees indicated are strictly guests fees.

For its location and generally rainy weather, I was surprised at how hard and fast this course's greens tended to be. I narrowly avoided 3-putting a few times and found the water hazard once. I managed to find most of the fairways in the front 9, but with the narrow back 9 fairways, I found myself often in the rough. This course's only major drawbacks are its narrow back 9 fairways and its fast greens.Overall, a good course.

"Scenic and challenging"
This is a beautiful and well designed course. The course can prove to be challenging for both the beginner and scratch golfer alike. The high grass that seperates some of the holes can be frustrating, so you would be well advised to keep to the left on such holes. During the fall the greens are usually riddled with leaves and twigs so spring and summer would be your best bet. The developer did an excellent job incorporating the natural surroundings into the course. With a tee off the top of a ridge on hole one, to the natural rocks that appear throughout the course, Greystone Golf Club in Dickson is sure to give you the feeling of connecting with nature as you connect with your ball.
