This course has a private country club atmosphere, but it is open to the public. The scenery is breathtaking, and the greens are fairly undulating, elevated, and large. There are several dogleg fairways that are so undulating you should expect some uneven lies. The nine hole green fees indicated are only available after 3 PM.

Good Stuff, Apr 24, 2006 |

| Course was in very good shape; especially since we've had about 1 day of rain in the past 60 days. Greens were a little quick, but everything else was great. Lots of elevated, undulating green makes club selection on your approach a bit tricky at times. Staff is friendly and helpful and greens fees are a bargain; check the sports page of the Tampa Tribune for coupons too. Overall, a great experience for the average golfer who cant afford Cheval or Saddlebrook |

Great Course for the price...., Mar 26, 2005 |

| It's not Saddlebrook but is a great..."REGULAR"....person golf course. Above average and a pleasere to play and enjoy. For the price and enjoyment, you won't go wrong! Has Country-Club atmosphere that the "regular," guy, doesn't normally get to experience. Course in great shape and staff are as friendly as can be. Go play.....and you, "will," enjoy! |

Cheap so lots of play, May 02, 2004 |

| The Quail is a bargain. The rates are usually pretty good so it gets lots of play from the golden-agers and snowbirds. The greens are usually in pretty decent shape, being a bit furry sometimes. Have to hand it to the head greenskeeper for keeping things decent most of the time. Avoid if there has been a lot of rain (summer) because the place becomes very mushy. Can be a good test if played from the tips. Say "hi" to Bob in the pro shop. |

Harder than you think for the distance, Feb 29, 2004 |

| Don't count the traps at Quail Hollow you might find yourself in one of them. And here is how to putt there Read the break divide by two hit it hard! Also... if you can see the 150 "markers"- leave your driver in the bag. It's narrow fairways will reach out and grab ya. |
