Old Wayne Golf Club - Eighteen Hole Course
2N751 Klein RdWest Chicago, IL 60185
Phone: (630)231-1350
This club offers a regulation eighteen hole course and an executive nine hole course. This is an exclusive club that does not publish any fees for the Eighteen Hole Course. The Eighteen Hole Course plays long, but its main difficulty is its thick rough bordering the fairways. The fairways are open and the greens are medium in size and speed. There is a stream that comes into play on two holes. The signature hole is #15, a 419-yard, par 4, requiring a shot down a narrow oak tree-lined fairway. The Nine Hole Executive Course is tight with tree-lined fairways. The undulating greens are medium in speed and size. The terrain is rolling with a stream that flows throughout the course and comes into play on seven holes.

Average but Affordable, May 19, 2009 |

| Old Wayne has been called "a poor man's golf club". Reasonable annual dues, no initiation fee and a $30 per round green fee, Old Wayne is a nice option for people who can't afford a plush country club experience. The 18 hole course plays fairly long and with all of the holes except one running north or south, the prevailing summer wind plays a role. Most of the greens are slightly elevated and guarded by sand traps. Virtually no water hazards and wide fairways. The course is well maintained. The executive nine hole course provides a fun alternative if strapped for time. |

| For being only a par 34, you think it would really easy, but not knowing the course makes it hard. I wouldn't want to belong their cause after a while it would become very easy, but if you want to take a break from upper-scale courses and still play at a nice course, go to Old Wayne |

One of my favorite places to play, May 15, 2007 |

| Always a pleasant experience. The undulated fairways present a challenge but the openess allows for forgiving shots. The "little 9" is quite the challenge with it's very tight faiways. I love this place ! Curt |

Great course for fun, Apr 17, 2004 |

| The rolling fairways allow a challenge and a scenic tour of the burbs. The course is not too challenging; however it offers a variety of play. |
