This course has four holes with the Scottish links-style in mind. The other fourteen holes have characteristics of a Midwestern design. The course was built on a semi-rolling terrain and has numerous mature trees lining the fairways. The course has well-maintained greens and fairways. "Golf Digest" rated this as the 9th "Best New Private Course" in America for 1995, and the #1 "Best in State" course for 1997-98. The driving range is next to the newly built townhouses on the course. The driving range is said to be designed to look like another beautiful hole. The personnel have stated, "for the quality of this course compared to others in the area, this course is rated the highest." All guests must have their head professional arrange for a tee time.

Just looking at it makes your jaw drop. I just got a job there and know the expectations are high. It's supposed to be one of the best courses a person can find.

This is a very challenging course in immaculate condition. Extremely difficult greens make for interesting approach shots. I defy anyone to get through an entire round without three-putting.
