A very nice course, I walked it, up and down a bit, not busy, Played Well, Extremely well maintained, a Great mix of rather interesting holes. Number 3, 240 yards uphill from the blues over water probably the toughest. Natural terrain, big trees which make doglegs doglegs. All in all a Great Little course, the Staff were quite nice, if I lived there I would be a member.

Nice Small Town Course, Jul 08, 2004

The WLCC is a nine-hole course like many you'd find in small midwest towns. The course was in great shape, fairways mowed down and rough that'd make you pay for spraying the ball. Not a very tight course..a couple of challenging tee shots (#5). The best hole on the course is #3, which plays from 215-235 uphill over a pond. From the back tees, it'll take all you have in your bag. Par there is like making a birdie. The greeens are a little on the small side, but receptive to shots with some spin. Overall nice course for the $$.

WELL MAINTAINED 9-HOLE COURSE, May 01, 2004

I am a member and have been for many years. The course has recently been improved with added water hazards. The level of maintenance is excellent. The club house (for a rural 9-hole course) is outstanding. You can have breakfast, lunch or dinner at the course seven days a week. Many of the top country club players in Eastern Iowa consider West Liberty the best course around.
