This private course is closed to the public, however, it does allow guest play with members. Sixteen of the course's eighteen holes offer downhill play. Wetlands enter into play on eleven holes. The tree-lined fairways are large and accommodating, and the greens are small, contoured and well bunkered. The signature hole is #17, a 198-yard, par 3, which requires a long iron off the tee to carry over a pond that fronts the green. Bunkers bookend the greens on this hole.

This is one of the best courses I've ever played. The staff treats guests as if they are members of the course and no luxuries are withheld. The course itself...wow. Just beautiful. The fairways are impeccable and the greens roll as true as can be. The layout is challenging and the design and views are spectacular. I'd play it as often as invited to do so. A top 5.

Amazing, worth every penny the exclusive membership roster pays for it. A view of Manhattan--Are you kidding me, absolutely fabulous as your standing on the 7th tee!! One of the best courses I've ever played.

On this course, very few holes require big shots, just accurate ones. The greens are well guarded with bunkers and there are several blind shots. Manhattan Woods is such a gorgeous course offering woodlands, target golf with great views of Rockland County and NYC.

Hillcrest Golf Club
"Shape your game"
I grew up the area playing this course weekly for many years.I shaped my game at this little gem. Sixteen years later I play golf in Austin and work with a team of middle school golfers. As for Hilcrest...The first 3 holes are par 3s.(W/9,5/6, W/SW) They added some water to number one and moved the tee years ago. It puts a whole new spin on number one. People are less likely to hit the cars in the parking lot and/or Mr. Wilson's house too. Huge pines could save your ball from a feild(now the driving range) on the left if you are hooker.People teeing off on number eight and on 7's green also come in to play for some bad slicers. Three had a huge Oak that came into play for high wedges coming in from the left side. Water fountain at 4 was nice In July and august. Number 4 is a ~310yard par 4. Little ditch running accross about 270? made many people lay-up. Eagleable on many days. Another par 3 follows a treeline for Hole 5 and then my favorite par 4 is next. Over a wide lake...that eats up every bad slice for righties. Another eagleable ~300yarder. The lake has nice size bass in it too. Seven is the only par 5, a dogleg to the right. Eight is a par 4 with a huge ditch eating drives by the minute. And we end with a par 4, left dogleg that is reachable with a crush over the corner. Lights added make night golf fun! Drving range is huge so you have plenty of swing room.

The fair way greens looked pretty good this past summer, the course its self was a hard one the front nine is almost imossible and the back nine is just plain sick!!! Overall very good beginners course and well maped out.
