This course blends a touch of Scotland and the feel of the Carolinas in a lush, tropical Florida setting. The best and most unique feature is the "Super Dune," which rises more than fifty-feet high. At its peak, you'll have a panoramic view of the entire course. There are three tees and three greens that are elevated, and a couple of waterfalls were built into the beautiful centerpiece that serves as the hallmark for this outstanding course. The course can be very challenging because water hazards come into play on sixteen holes. Five sets of tees are available, so all skill levels will enjoy playing here. A "Golf Course News" survey in 1992 voted Emerald Dunes as "Best Resort/Public Course" opened in the past five years. "Golf Digest" rated this course as the 8th "Best Public Course" in the state for 1996. It was also ranked as the 30th "Best in State" course for 1997-98. "GOLF Magazine" awarded it 71st under the 1998 category of "Top 100 Courses You Can Play in the U.S." For advance tee times call (561) 684-GOLF. The Florida International Tournament is held here at the beginning of the season. Every cart is equipped with GPS-Pro Link computerized yardage systems. The nine hole rate is effective after 3 PM.
