This course was built on naturally terrain and features a preserve on one side and water on the other. Sixteen of the eighteen holes have water hazards coming into play. The fairways are fairly flat and tree lined. The signature hole is #7, a 220-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot over water.

Not worth the guest fee of $125. Go play emerald dunes instead. |

| Not only is this course directly across from an actual dump, but the course itsself isn't much better. If you enjoy smelling some old trash then you might be able to tolerate playing this course. The fairway is very poorly maintained, probably due to poor irrigation and a groundskeeping crew that has no clue how to maintain a golf course. I would reccomend you find some place else to play.
The club house on the property is run down and poorly maintained. the outside is covered with spider webs and could really use some cleaning.

Best Kept secret in West Palm Beach a Hidden Gem, Dec 08, 2004

| This Arthur Hills course is a master piece. It is a very challenging course with very fast greens. More than half of Ironhorse is given over to lakes, nature preserves, and the fairways of the Arthur Hills championship, 18-hole golf course. Nature has been carefully conserved replete with preserves and wetlands including their indigenous residents – sand hill cranes, wood storks, blue heron, otter, fox, turtles, alligators, and a myriad of other wildlife inhabitants. This scenic course is challenging enough without having to wait for the sand hill cranes and their off-spring to heed your call of “fore”. It is a well worth playing while in the Palm Beach area.
