This course went through major renovations beginning in late 1995, and reopened in April of 1997. This course is located on a military installation but it is open to the public. The original design was built on hilly terrain, and featured tree-lined fairways and some well-placed fairway bunkers. Small streams come into play on several holes.

Great Course. Near Hudson river In mountains. Great Views. Interesting approach shots- Challenging your ability to play all types of lies. Have to be accurate. 6000 yds plays alot longer. Have played top public courses and this is a tough public course to score well. Some greens are in good shape and some greens showed wear and tear-but that was day after hurricane.

This course is not much different than a municapal course so why are the fees so high? It's a shame that at a publicly supported facility (the USMA at West point), the taxpaying public can't get a break. It's all about the money. Very hilly, challenging, some scenic holes but not worth the expense.

It would be nice for a small discount for vets at this military base.

This is an extremely hilly course with few even lies. Nice in spots and picturesque, but it is TOO expensive for what it offers. How about a Sr. discount or special offers?? It would bring in more business.
