This is a relatively flat course and easy to get to from the major highway. The course's main difficulties are caused from the trees and the bunkers. This is a good course for seniors. There is a brook that runs through about ten holes and three ponds also come into play. Hole #16, a 481-yard, par 5, has both the creek and a pond that must be carried. Daily discounts are available on weekdays before 1 PM, as well as Saturday specials.

Very Pleased, May 31, 2004

I drive almost two hours (round trip) to play at the airways golf course. It is not only one of the nicest public courses in CT to play, but also the ticket price can't be beaten. For 22 dollars, you get 18 holes, with a cart, plus 4 dollars twards a lunch at the restaurant. You order on the 9th tee, and the food is ready for you when you finish the 9th hole. Very fair price, and beautiful course.

"South Georgia's best secret"
What a wonderful couse that plays well all year round. This couse will test all skill levels but is fair. With wide fairways but tough rough and a lot of trees if you miss the fairway. Fairly long most par 4 play between 380 to 410 yards. Water comes into play on 5 holes. Couse is in great shape and a 3 1/2 hour round is the norm!

For a fast round of 9-holes this course is very enjoyable, and actually quite challenging. The greens are all in good condition throught the year, and so are the fairways. Par 3's range from 90-yards to 205-yards, and the par 4s are long enough where you can hit driver and/or 3-wood. Wonderful practice putting green surrounding water and driving range is also nice. For the price and convenience of walking on without a long wait, it's a winner in my book.

River Park Golf Course
"Under estimated"
River Park Golf Course is an amazing asset to the small town of Mackay ID. Many people including myself under estimated this golf course. When I arrived at the course I felt like I was too good of a golfer for a course like River Park but I was completely caught off guard. The narrow fairways, small quick greens and water hazards made it impossible for me to come close to paring the course the first few times. If you want a golfing challenge visit this wonderful course, where you will also be treated with genuine hospitality.
