This course was built on 500 acres, and 250 acres are preserved wetlands. It is a unique Scottish links-style course that features open fairways along with large and undulating greens. This course plays longer then it looks due to prevailing winds that blow up to fifteen miles per hour. There are five man-made lakes coming into play, and ten holes play through the wetlands. The other tee shown is an additional men's tee. This club is expected to go private sometime within the next four years.

Very well maintained. Greens are very fast and firm.Fairways in great shape. Rough is penalizing for most of the course. Front nine is too compacted like a links course, and a portion of the back nine also. Excellent service from the proshop on down. Course is less picturesque with all the houses around it as compared to 7 years ago. I chopped a hole through the woods for sight to a green on the back nine and got yelled at in Italian by a groundskeeper.

Panorama Country Club - Blue/Red Course
"Tough fair course"
This course has fast greens and is kept in good shape. The fairways arent long but are tight in places. Nice layout with plenty of water and traps.

Glen Garden Golf & Country Club
"History"
Glen Garden is a great place for Golfers of all ages. Playing on the course, it is easy to see how it produced such greats as Hogan and Nelson. They have the classic postage stamp greens. You must be accurate with your approach shot or you will miss the green. It is a great course for beginners as there are relatively few holes where a bad shot will lose your ball. The pace of play is very relaxed and the course staff are over the top friendly. The only down side to Glen Garden is that when it was built it was out in the country (1912?). In the 1950's Fort Worth grew and houses went up all around the course. Unfortunately these houses we small wooden houses and over the years it has become the bad side of town. There have been huge efforts by the local population over the last ten years to clean things up but it will take time. I highly recommend a visit to Glen Garden for any golfer. If you have an interest in history you will find it fantastic to consider you are walking on holy grounds.

Blue Lakes Country Club
"Unreal"
Blue Lakes C.C. is one of the best courses I have played, and I have been all over the country. Deep in the Snake River Canyon, there is not one shot that isnt breath taking. Rob Ellis, has done a great job with his staff, and golf course. If anyone gets the opportunity to play this magnificant course, do not pass it up. I would pay 2ce or 3 times as much to play this course again.

This is a great layout with some long par 3's. The fairways are wide but trees line many holes and you must be in position in the fairway to get a shot at the small greens. Speed of the greens is medium-fast. Greens and Tee boxes were in good shape but the bermuda fairways are dormant and not overseeded for the winter. Play is slower on Sunday's but everyone was friendly and helpful.
