Water hazards come into play on several holes, and the fairways are tree lined. The signature hole is #17, a 183-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot over a large water hazard that stretches from tee to green. This club hosted the 1994 State Open.

| This course forces you to hit the ball high and far on several holes. Three par four's: 1, 10, and 12 are impossible to hit in regulation for the average golfer. The par fives offer good par or birdy opportunities. Three of the par three's are easy to hit in regulation with a solid short-iron game. If you are a weekend golfer - be prepared to experience high scores. If you are experienced - be prepared to be challenged. The course personnel are the best around. The greenskeeper is doing a fantastic job of getting the course back to the excellent condition it used to be in several years ago. The driving range is a keeper and they just opened a short-game green for chipping and pitching practice. I like this course. |
