This course is great for beginners and seniors, but it is also nice for experienced golfers because it features enough variety of challenges to really test their game. The terrain is predominantly flat, but there is some mounding which can cause uneven lies. Some of the fairways are tree lined, but the majority have water hazards or out-of-bounds stakes coming into play, placing a premium on shot accuracy. The signature hole is #5, a 342-yard, par 4, requiring a tee shot up a narrow fairway with water running down the entire right side and out-of-bounds stakes on the left, then an approach shot to a peninsula green. Tee times can only be reserved for the weekends and holidays. This facility offers year-round indoor golf simulation. They are full swing golf simulators available, which offer twenty-six different courses. The bar & grill is also open year round.

|There has been some "money" put into the course over the past couple of years and the up-keep has been improved. Some tee boxes added to increase yardage was a great idea for the golfer that likes to use the driver. Trees added and bunkers cut to make sand play tougher. Watch your head though, some holes are tight with other fairways. For the price, very good course to play a fun 9 holes.|

|Westland muni. is o.k. It's very inexpensive and a great confidence builder because most of the par 4's are about 300 (and some change) yards which makes it a very birdie friendly. The course is usually kept up fairly well.|
