This beautiful course has open fairways on the front nine and narrow fairways on the back nine. Water hazards come into play on nine holes. The signature hole is #13, a 459-yard, par 4, requiring a tee shot from off an elevated tee up a dogleg right fairway. There is a pond on the inside corner of this dogleg fairway that will catch any wayward shot.

I've played this course many times and it is one of my favorites. It is well run and kept in great shape. The meal deal is great, good price and the food is excellent. My only complaint would be that it doesn't drain real well so the grounds tend to be soft if it's been raining prior. Overall I would definitely recommend the course though

this is a Great example of a classy, traditional and affordable central new england golf course. The people are nice, the greens are a bit slow, but everything is well kept. They make it their priority not to overbook or have tee delays.

The course layout is very challenging with some tight fairways on the tricky front side, but is rewarding on the back with open, reachable par 5s. The greens roll well and the fairways are usually in good shape. You can't beat the deal at $20-30 for green fees and cart rental.

Huntington Park Golf Course
"Awesome Golf Course for the Price!"
Keep in mind, my 4-star score was given to this course relative to it's cheap green fees. $14 for this course is excellent. I will most certainly be playing Hunington a lot in the spring and summer coming up. Hunington Park Golf Course is one of the two main public Shreveport courses. Hunington is definately better than Querbes, but both are worth playing because of their low green fees. I find Hungington to be quite difficult. It's length is KILLER! But, if you drive the ball at least 250 yards, it won't be as bad for you. There are no bunkers on this course, which is strange to me. But, I hardly noticed because I was concerned too much with it's length. Several 470 yard par 4's are murderous. The average player should consider them to play as par 5's. I highly recommend this course for anyone to play. There are many great holes, and I had a lot of fun. Again, play this course if you like a great price.
