This scenic course is home to an abundance of wildlife, including turkeys, deer and fox. The narrow fairways are defined by a standard cut of rough. The signature hole is #17, a par 3, requiring a tee shot over water to the green.

Remarkable turnaround!, Mar 11, 2008 |

| The Trails golf course has gone through an amazing turnaround and is now a premier course in Oconee county South Carolina. New greens, new cart paths, remodeled tees, widened fairways, excellent grill for meals/snacks, new carts, excellent rates and an unending list of changes makes this course the place to play. |

Great Course, Jan 15, 2007 |

| This is a great looking course. It is widely laid out and has quite a few lakes and a ton of woods. They have also recently redone the greens and the teeboxes which make this course even better. The fairways are extremely narrow, and hole 17 is entirely over water. A small, but nice, clubhouse, driving range, and low fees, make this an extremely good course to go to. |

| Have seen much improvement in this course since residents took over ownership. With the new greens that were put in this past summer (2006) it should just keep on improving. Give it a try. |

New Greens for The Trails at Chickasaw Point, Nov 29, 2006 |

| I have enjoyed this fun, challenging golf course. You can play it over and over without getting bored with it. The new greens are Tift Dwarf Bermuda, very difficult but enjoyable to putt on. This course has never been in better shape. All in all, it is the most afforable and enjoyable course in this area. |

Course renamed to The Trails at Chickasaw Point, Nov 29, 2006 |
| reviewer: Gary Heck
from Westminster SC |
| The property owners bought the course 2 years ago and have put in new greens, improved the fairways and tees, and have greatly improved the overall course. Improvements are still being made. The course has gone from a 1 star course to a solid 3 star course. Mountain golf that is challenging and fun to play. If you haven't played this course in the last year you are in for a treat. |
