This well-manicured course has many trees that can alter your shots and fast greens. The rough is tall, and there are many sand bunkers that come into play throughout the course. Water hazards (lakes and streams) come into play on four holes. Reciprocal play is not allowed on the weekends.

New Challenge Every Day, Mar 30, 2004

WCC has just been completely reworked (2003). The fairways are new zoysia, the bunkers are all new, and there is new landscaping to improve drainage. The greens are fast and slope dramatically. The course is compact and very walker friendly. A great challenge every day. The professional staff is just that - very professional and very courteous and they operate a nationally recognized golf shop. If you are invited to play, don't miss the opportunity.

Whispering Oaks Golf & Country Club
"OUTSTANDING VALUE"
Played it many times. Expansive layout, well manicured, nice greens. A little dry at times, but thats the neighborhood. Recent updates such as massive waste-bunkers installed in various locations make it attractive, looks expensive. A very fun course to play. Better than 2 or 3 other courses in the area. Water holes are a challenge and beautifully presented. But don't tell anybody, I like the course to myself. Going back Feb 3rd to the 13th 2004.

"Good greens"
The corse isn't extreamly long, but can pose a challenge from the back tees, especially for the mid-long hitters. It is well manicured, and the greens have a smooth, consistant roll.

"Great Beginner couse"
This course is great for beginners. Althought the course is go for starters it is also challenging. Some of the green can be quiet hard. The 5th hole in my opinion is the hardest. This course is my home course formy school golf team and it can be very hard for even some good players.

"Fiarways and greens"
Tha't what it takes to score well on this course. While there are a few places where you can recover from a shot out to the right, for the most part you must stay on the fairway and hit the tiny greens to score well here.
