This is not a desert course, but a traditional design. The signature hole is #3, a 598-yard, par 5, featuring some great views of the surrounding area. This course has been rated as one of the top ten designed resort courses in Arizona by "Golf Digest." In addition, "Golf Digest" rated this as the 5th "Best Public Course" in the state for 1996, and the 16th "Best in State" course for 1995-96. The course had nine holes redesigned by Greg Nash and Jeff Hardin in 1981. The resort is closed during the summer months, though the course stays open.

| I have played this course for nearly 30 years. It is always a challenge. It is interesting and can be quite trying in some of the winds that are often present. The couse is always in very nice condition, greens are true. My advice: stay out of the desert! |
