This course has fast greens. Water hazards come into play on seven holes. The terrain is fairly flat and easy to walk, plus the fairways are wide open. Hole #6, a 142-yard, par 3, requires the tee shot to carry entirely over water. There is an additional set of men's tees that can be used when playing an eighteen hole round.

Rainier Golf & Country Club
"One of the best In Seattle area"
Rainier Golf has everything for the family. Nice greens, beautiful fairways, ponds, and a great crew that takes care of it. It has an older clubhouse with French stying. Ron Proctor the last Superintendent, drove the course into a new direction by rebuiding all of the fairways, adding six to twelve inches of sand, drainage, and training the best crew to care for it. He kept up on new mowers, bringing high quality, cutting edge practices into the day to day maint. of the course. Rainier golf is worth the money. All done through two generations of golf Superintendent know how. Rainier is a links style layout, and challenging for everyone.

"Don't walk!"
The course is OK by layout, but I walked the course and I feel like I played 36 holes! There is such a long walk in between holes that I felt like I was on a hiking trip. I would suggest to ride. Staff was friendly. I thought it was a typical community/housing golf course.

Lenawee Country Club
"What a treasure"
Scenic course - challenging but not overwhelming. The hills provide a variety of lies not found on surrounding courses. Course was in immaculate condition. Our group enjoyed it and will return annually on our golf trips to more northern places in Michigan. The undulating fast greens are tough. Traps could use some work. Tighter than a lot of courses, but not overly long.

Been coming here for 12 years in the spring and hope to keep coming. Can't say enough about the accomodations, staff and course. Some of the most beautiful scenery in the world. All three nine hole venues have their own personality. The type of course you think about all winter long when you are from the north. I guarantee you will enjoy this place.
