This hilly course has water coming into play on three holes. The medium-sized greens are slow. The course was built in a forest setting, so wildlife, like deer and elk, is frequently seen on or around the grounds. This is an enjoyable course for all levels of golfer. There are additional tees that can be used when playing an eighteen hole round. The course may expand to eighteen holes by 2000. The course was completely redesigned in 1989.

Tamahka Trails
"Weekend Excursion"
It's the offseason now and we've just returned from 27 holes at Tamahka Trails. The rate was very reasonable, service second to none and the course ... well this old cajun boy has never played a finer course in his life and may never still. The people made us feel as though we never left our home town. They treat you with kindness and respect, catering to your every whim. Let me tell you it was one of the very best golf outings I've ever had (and plan to have again). If you would like to experience golf as it should be ... try Tamahka Trails. You won't be disappointed. And by the way ... for a course this nice the seasonal rates are good also. See you there ...
