This course is an excellent place for beginners to take up the game. There are only a few hazards on the course and water doesn't come into play anywhere.

Big Improvement with new management, Apr 03, 2011 |

| I have played here for three years for two weeks each year. Two years ago it had been neglected. The new owners are making progress by leaps and bounds. They have set it up like a desert course with landing areas cultivated first. This is a smart approach. It is enjoyable to play with rolling terrain both left and right doglegs and good greens. It is a great value and will only get better. Try it you will like it. |

Great Greens, Oct 22, 2004 |

| Greens on this course are absolutely beautiful, reasonably fast and very true rolls. All greens slope to some degree, so accurate reads are required. Fairways are good with plenty of Bermuda grass, but the rough at the edge of the fairways is not as good; lots of bare dirt, and uneven ground. Although there's no water on the course, the layout is interesting and challenging with several 90 degree or greater doglegs. The course is almost 6300 yards from the white tees. For this relatively flat area of Florida, there's quite a bit of elevation change on the course. For the price, Williston Highlands is a real bargain. |
