This is a narrow course with mature trees lining the fairways. The terrain is rolling, and the greens are fast and undulating. There was a major renovation of the course completed in 1994 by Arthur Hills, including the addition of a fourth water hazard. The clubhouse was completely remodeled at the same time.

Great Golf Experience, Apr 07, 2007

I really enjoyed my round at Westmoreland. The course is a classic with some very nice recent renovations. I have several friends who are members and they enjoy the membership and the club and the staff does a great job especially with special events. As a frequent guest I was always treated very well.

Nice course. It's a little short but well-maintained. However, some staff can be rude. The caddies are a rip-off and the food is bad. Every african-american member I know who applied for membership was turned down.

They are full of biggits and nasty people. I have never been treated so poorly. They have nasty members and nasty staff. Do yourself a favor find another club.

a very green and tree filled course....in great shape...fun to play....not too hard, but challenging nonetheless....beautiful views of clubhouse on 9th and 18th....a bit short, but if played from the back tees is long enough for most big hitters

I had a wonderful time golfing on this course, the practice facility is not much to write home about but the course and the service was awesome, we were a threesome and got around the course in under 5 hours, we tee'd off at 8:30a and were done by 1:00p, we actually had time to re put the greens several times after every hole and we only waited twice the entire morning, it was wonderful, we are not the greatest golfers either, we were all in the 90's. It was just a pleasure to go to a course and be treated so nice and have such a fun round of golf, thanks.

Nice flat 18 hole thru a nice up and comming community. The green are very well kept. Good for an average golfer like me and reasonibly priced.

Eagle Creek Golf Club
"Nothing Wrong With Eagle Creek"
I have golfed Eagle Creek many times over the past four years. The front nine holes are much different from the back nine. The front nine are wide fairways with very few obstructions and on a windy day, these holes can be as tough as any other holes in golf. Meanwhile, the back nine are just the opposite. The fairways are much more narrow and every hole except hole #13 is engulfed in trees. You must be very careful on the back nine because if you go in the trees you won't be making par on that hole. The wind is not so much a factor on the back nine but that's a plus since there is already so much to worry about. Still, it is a great course. If I had to make one complaint about this course, it is the fact that to just golf one round or even become a member the fees are a little ridiculous. It seems that most of the people who do or would like to golf there are locals and they can't afford to pay those type of fees. But again, that is my only complaint about this course. If I was asked to recommend one course to try, my answer would have to be Eagle Creek Golf Club in Willmar, Minnesota.
