This club has an outstanding eighteen hole course and a regulation nine hole course. The North Course is an eighteen hole course with open fairways and greens that are contoured and sloped. The sand bunkers are strategically placed on the course, along with several water hazards that come into play on a number of holes. The signature hole on the North Course is #15, a 389-yard, par 4, with trees running along the right side of the fairway and an elevated green. The South Course has open fairways, and well-manicured, medium-sized greens. There are only two ponds that come into play on two holes, and the terrain is not as hilly as the North Course. The signature hole on the South Course is #4, a 399-yard, par 4, featuring a dogleg left fairway that also has an elevated green. Junior discounts are only available Monday to Thursday.

Lufkin Country Club
"Very fun, and inexpensive."
This course is a very well kept secret in the old part of Lufkin, Texas. Not your upper tier type course but cheap for the quality. Fairways are very plush with just a very few spots that need work. And the greens, oh wow, possibly the best greens in the Lufkin-Nacogdoches area (including Crown Colony). It has the very challenging holes that you need to play cautious golf, and then it has the type of holes that you can attack with everything you have. When you finish this course, you will definately want to come back for more.

Highlands Country Club
"Great Mountain Course"
Although you must golf with a member, Highlands offers a wide variety of challenges. Varying lies, fast greens, and narrow fairways makes Highlands a highly likeable course. A recent resodding of the fairways to Kentucky bluegrass has made this already aesthetic course even more beautiful.
