This private club features two excellent courses. You must either be accompanied or sponsored by a member in order to play these courses. These courses are very exciting to play because shot accuracy is at a premium. The Jack Nicklaus Course can be difficult because the wetlands come into play on many holes. The signature hole is #17, featuring a beautiful and distinctive design. The Pete Dye Course is demanding because of the variety of hazards coming into play on many holes. Caddies are mandatory if you choose to walk either of the courses.

Pines Municipal Golf Course, The
"Tough for it's size"
I'm origianally from Toccoa and have played this golf course many many times. While only a 9 hole course, it is worth the money to play it. It is far less expensive than most golf corses and offers real challenges for even experienced golfers. The terrain is extremely hilly and almost every hole has an extreme change in elavation. The green's are extremely small and very very fast. During the summer the fairways and greens are fairly well manicured although winter play tends to be a little harder on some holes due to a harder fairways from less moisture. Fairways are extemely tight with hundreds of opportunities to lose balls in pine forests and a courseside lake on the last two holes. Overall, not an allstar course but for a quick, challenging, and inexpensive round well worth the time.

North Bellingham Golf Course
"Totally worth it!"
For the price they ask, it's totally worth it! It's a great course! There may not be that many trees, but I noticed a few projects that looked like they were working on it, and there is still plenty of beauty surrounding it. Water hazards made it challenging, but all the more fun. Very well kept! The maintenance crew must work hard!
