What a thrill to come back to this course 45 years later. As a new member, it has been fun to note the changes. The back nine was added in the '60's as was the course watering system. A long term plan to revise the greens on the front nine (had a top reputation even 45 years ago) and the wonderfully maintained fairways have kept this course on the upswing! Member involvement to install the watering system and to plant trees over the years have added to the "ownership" and care of this course. It is not a flat course by any means; Walking the course involves several gradual slopes up and down, and a creek meanders through and accross several of the holes. Some mature trees add beauty and do play havoc with misplaced shots. Signature holes abound but my favorites are old #1 now #5, old #3 now #7, and the finishing hole #18. Lovely newer homes are properly spaced along the East and Northwest borders of the property. The clubhouse was replaced in the 60's and has locker rooms, a fine dining room (table cloths etc) with a view of the course, plus an informal bar and eating area.
