This is an extremely narrow course because of the large amount of native rough and natural terrain defining the fairways. In addition, water hazards come into play on twelve holes. The signature hole is #17, a 169-yard, par 3, featuring an elevated tee offering a view of Pike's Peak and a green surrounded on by water on three sides and the thick native rough in front.

"A must play"
The best golf in the south bay. The course is in great shape year round. Bring your 'A' game or a lot of balls. A little $$$, but it's well worth it. Eagle and Coyote can't compete. It�s important to keep it straight here - 3 woods off the tee for the most part. Sacrifice distance in order to keep yourself in the fairway. It will save you at least half a dozen strokes.

Northeast Harbor Golf Club

NEHGC is on the pleasant island of Mt.Desert in Downeast Maine. I live in Seal Harbor 6 mos. a yr and join the club as a seasonal member. The play is $255 and excludes June 26 thru Sept 6. It is by far the best deal on MDI and throughout the downeast region. The course is never crowded, and you can expect the service in the pro shop to be excellent. Beautifully maintained greens and fairways with the backdrop of surrounding mtns. and countryside make this course a well kept secret on busy MDI. Make a tee time after Sept. 30 to enjoy incredible foliage and ideal temperatures.

Fox Valley Golf Club
"quality at reasonable price"
One of the best course in the fox valley region. You pay for a membership and by the end of the summer you have played enough rounds to balance out the price. Prices are reasonable enough to allow members to bring a non-member at an affordable cost. The layout of the course challenges both right and left handed golfers.
