Great course, May 15, 2004

Played here 5 or 6 times and it always beats me up. Not unfair, just hard! Great conditions, Long and tight. You need to hit good shots or it'll cost you. A lot of memorable holes, in terms of visual appeal and playability. To me a good course is one you want to get back to after it kicks your butt. A great hole is one that makes you think about how to play it before AND after, Bull Valley is definitely a great curse with great holes. HUGE clubhouse.

Arroyo Seco Golf Course
"Pretty Good Par 3"
This is a good course to tune up your short irons. It's pretty well maintained (the tees are mats however). Most holes are about 130 yards or so with a pond coming into play on a couple holes. There are no sand traps, but there is a stream that runs through the course as well as many trees. It's a good course to play after work, with your family, or when you don't want to play a full golf course.

"1 goofy hole"
I like this golf course, but 1 hole make it less than stellar. Number 12 is a ridiculous 90 degree dogleg that takes away from the rest of the course. Speed of play has been exceptional every time I have played, but that 1 idiotic hole ruins ithe backside. I suggest moving up the box and making it a par 3 or redoing it altogether.
