My husband and I grew up in and around Woodward, we now live in South Texas where golf is year round, but every chance we get to go back home (Woodward) we jump at the chance to play at Boiling Springs Golf Course, we think the fairways are the best we have ever played anywhere.

The course has very good grass and a great layout. The greens are the best greens i have seen in Oklahoma. The girls that work in the club house are also hot.

This golf course is sneaky long, but it is made difficult because the greens won't hold a shot longer than a nine iron, the greens are too small and there is very little space on either side of most of the greens to make a chip shot. This course is much poorer than several public layouts and the membership is both expensive and poorly managed.

I like this golf course, but 1 hole make it less than stellar. Number 12 is a ridiculous 90 degree dogleg that takes away from the rest of the course. Speed of play has been exceptional every time I have played, but that 1 idiotic hole ruins ithe backside. I suggest moving up the box and making it a par 3 or redoing it altogether.
