This wooded course has several dogleg fairways. Water hazards (a lake and a river) come into play on some holes. The signature hole is #12, a 440-yard, par 4, requiring a tee shot up a tree-lined, dogleg left fairway. "Golf Digest" rated this course as the 5th "Best Public Course" in the state for 1996. The ladies' par is actually 75.

| My husband and I grew up in and around Woodward, we now live in South Texas where golf is year round, but every chance we get to go back home (Woodward) we jump at the chance to play at Boiling Springs Golf Course, we think the fairways are the best we have ever played anywhere. |

| The course has very good grass and a great layout. The greens are the best greens i have seen in Oklahoma. The girls that work in the club house are also hot. |
