"Hidden Golf Jewel In the Ozarks"
The Twin Lakes Golf Course is an 18 hole par 70 course with tree lined fairways and bentgrass greens. This is a semi-private course opeerated by its over 350 members. The course is open to the public on a daily fee basis. Visitors to the Twin Lakes area find this challenging course a delight. The information provided about this site on golfable.com is dated. The course has experienced significant upgrades in the last few years and provides a challenge for those used to wide open courses. Quarry Hills Country Club
"Natural golf"
Ellis Maples used time-tested design methods on Quarry Hills golf course. Not alot of earth was moved when placing the holes, and the result is a warm, natural feel when walking this course. In fact, it was made to walk. Despite its short length, it is a strong test of golfing skill to score well here. A true Hidden Gem in North Carolina.

Pine Creek Golf Course
"Golfing guru makes spectacular analysis"
There are too many geese deficating on the fairways. Plus I found there to be only one hole per green. This proves to be much too challenging for novice golfers such as myself. Multiple holes and flags on each green would be a great improvement to your facility. Are the ponds really necessary? By filling them in with dirt it would provide golfers with more hitting surfaces. One tree per hole will suffice, too many trees takes the fun out of the game. Another suggestion would be to eliminate ob and thin all grass. Sand was much too sandy and loose. Doing away with the sand would draw more golfers with superior skills such as myself.

Joe Wheeler State Park Golf Course
"Good Value in Lovely Setting"
This is a decent public golf course set in a nice state park. Fairly hilly. Some tough shots but playable for most anyone. Greens are adequate. This is a great value as a second round on the same day is discounted.
