This beautiful course has small greens and scenic tree-lined fairways. There are water hazards that come into play on six holes. The club doesn't open until noon on Mondays. The greens are soft enough to hold your shots. This club was originally founded in 1895 and has been listed by the USGA as one of the first 100 clubs established in the U.S. It was also recognized by "GOLF Magazine's" in 1995 as one of the "First 100 Clubs in America." There are additional sets of tees that can be used when playing an eighteen hole round.

| I have played many Donald Ross golf courses and most of the ones in New England, including Mr. Ross' first course in the US, Oakley CC, and was a member of another Ross Course, Cohasse CC,in Southbridge, MA.. This course is by far the best 9 hole Ross course I have played in New England and better than many of his 18 hole courses because of the strategic tee placements from front to back nines. The fairways are the best I have EVER played and although it is not considered a long course, it is a course that will allow you to use all the clubs in your bag. If you don't like TCC you don't like golf. |
