Great Shape, Sep 01, 2011
reviewer: TK from Worcester
Green Hill may get a bad rap for being in Worcester, but the course is in great shape this year. New sand traps have been done and the greeens\fairways are in great shape. There is also new management in the restaurant.

Joining again!, Apr 02, 2007
reviewer: Kelly J. Reeves from Worcester, MA USA
My family joined again, this year, since my youngest son has grown to an age, that he is able to love/play the game. (Watch out for him.) A driver can be used on all fourteen PAR 4s & 5s, allowing the long ball hitter to show off his or her stuff. The course is extremly challanging due to the varied lies that Green Hill offers. If you can score at Green Hill, you can score just about anywhere. Many improvements have made the course not only challanging, but also beautiful. The pro shop is run like a tight ship, and the personel is extremely helpful. I love being a member once again.

a municipal gem, Sep 27, 2004
reviewer: Ron D. from Shrewsbury, Ma.
Great views in the Fall, cooling winds during the summer, and a great staff. The course has wide fairways and ample sized greens; both are nearly always in good to excellent condition. If you hit the ball, long and straight, you'll score well, otherwise you'll get what you deserve. The rough can be hard dirt, weeds, and sometimes quite unfair. Some fairway sections undulate and some are subject to burnout or are really wet in the spring. But, if you really are a 20 or less handicap--not likely to affect your game. If you hit in the mid to high 90's conditions can be a challenge but you'll learn and appreciate the course increasingly with each round played.

You get what you pay for, May 12, 2004

Cheap and easy to get on, but just about any other course in the area will give you a better value - greens and fairways both need a lot of work, and the course plays as slow as it gets (you have plenty of time to enjoy the view).
