This course is highlighted by a few sloped fairways, but basically the terrain is flat. In addition, water hazards come into play on six holes. Numerous sand bunkers have been incorporated into the course design, placing a premium on shot accuracy. The club annually plays host to the Southern Ohio PGA. Larry Packard redesigned the course in 1958, followed by Jack Kidwell, who redesigned four holes in 1971.

| Twin base is affordable place to play golf. For military or retired military its always available to you. Sometimes it is open to the public. The course is very forgiving. Wide fairways on par 4's and short par 5's allow golfers to mishit a a shot and still be able to make GIR. However, the course is pretty flat, which makes it kind of boring. Play moves smoothly. I have never had a problem with getting on when I didn't bother to make a tee time. The management tries to work with you. |
