This very narrow course has a multiple cut of rough and trees bordering all its fairways. Water hazards come into play on eleven holes. The greens vary in size and are extremely undulating, plus many of them are multi-tiered and fast. The course was built on rolling terrain. The signature hole is #14, a 417-yard, par 4, with water running the entire length of the right side of the fairway and guarding the front of the green.

Great Course, Nov 29, 2010 |

| Great shape, and very friendly. We played the day after Thanksgiving, and really enjoyed the course. Scenery was great, a lot of houses, but what do you expect for Florida? Lots of moguls through out the course, but easy ups. We played after 12, and the course had a few others. We did NOT have to wait. I will play this course as often as I can! |

| WARNING!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT book "discounted" tee times online for this course. Your card will be charged for the reservation and again for the same amount plus tax at the pro shop prior to play. In the addition, the employees in the pro shop are less than friendly. Calling them pretentious or arrogant would be an understatement regarding their lack of congeniality. |

Great Bargain, Jul 02, 2007 |

| Great course for the money, challenging holes, as well as shorter ones. Greens were in average shape, but fairways in great shape. Summer rates are fair, and not many people at all on week days. |

Slow Play, Poor Conditions, Misled, May 08, 2004 |

| They had a tournament of the back (and 8 and 9) that they failed to tell is about when we made a tee time. Then they said that they would only go off the back, but they took up sveral of the front nine holes too. By the time we made the turn, you had to take a number to play. Course wasn't in great shape either, too many other courses around that are in much better shape and treat you better. They just want your maney. My advice, play somewhere else! |

Hidden beauty, May 07, 2004 |

| I have played this course many times. It was the home course for my high school. It used to be a course surrounded on most sides by nature. Might I place the emphasis on 'USED TO BE.' My college years have taken me away from the former jewel. What I saw when I returned was all too typical: Development. The beauty is degraded, but the course still offers a challenge rarely matched by ANY course in the area, much less one affordable. The true elegance in this course has always been the variety it offers. Longer is not always better, and can oft be a liability, for hidden hazards are common. Smart play is the key to low scores. |

What do you expect for 15 bucks, Apr 19, 2004 |

| Good deal for the money- 15 bucks after 3pm. Greens were being aerated at the time. Also a large amount of senior citizens as typical for the Zephyrhills area from January to May. They play slow, park the cart miles from their ball, and use long, telescopic retrievers to find errant balls others have left behind to add to their collection. This all translates into SLOW PLAY- be prepared to wait if the course is crowded at all- they also rarely invite you to play through which is frustrating and poor etiquette. Overall, a decent course- Ill wait to until the summer time to go back when the snowbirds go home. |
