This course has some large oak trees that come into play throughout the course. The greens are large and very fast. There are water hazards that come into play on ten of the eighteen holes. It is quite a challenging course.

Terrible condition!, Jun 26, 2004

Worst condition of any golf course in the area! Several holes under construction and difficult to travel from one hole to next on bumpy dirt "cart path". Staff was very rude and apathetic. I can't believe they charge to play this course! You'll have a better round of golf in a cow pasture!

Solid all around course, Apr 19, 2004
reviewer: JC from Wesley Chapel, FL
Silver Oaks offers a championship 18 hole course, as well as the "Dream 9", a collection of short replica holes based after some famous venues such as Augusta National, TPC Sawgrass and Royal Troon. Good place to polish your short game and reasonable price too. Championship course features about 6 holes which bring neighborhood homes into play(one poor house along the Par 3 7th has been dinged once our twice by my tee shots). Price is right, course is usally in good shape. Only slight drawback is the crowd. Zephyrhills is huge a senior citizen mecca; they play slow, use pull carts and rarely invite singles to play through which is poor etiquette and frustrating. Go in the summer time when the snowbirds head back up north is my suggestion.
