Grandview Farms Golf Course -- *Rent A Cart*
Review by: Adam Miller	Extremely hilly course. This is a challenge because of very narrow drives, lots of water and trees, and it is relatively long. I love the challenge here, hte course is a little poor on the fairways, the grass is still young and needs some more work. Great deal at under 25 with a cart, and get a cart or you will regret it, no flat holes on the course

Mallard Pointe Golf Course (The Magnolia Trace) - Championship Course -- *Formidable - Challenging - Beautiful*
Review by: Mrs. C.A. Duffy	I think for a woman, this is a medium difficulty course. The rolling terrain does tend to help with distance, and most of the fairways are well banked to help keep you in the middle. However, for the serious slice or hook, there's nothing but trouble! My favorite holes are the 9th and 18th with their disappearing fairways eaten out by the lake. You must carry them to hit the greens. It's do-able in regulation for ladies, but you need to be aware of the hazard. M.L. Duffy

Hilltop Country Club
"Neatest course in Texas"
I went and played a round of golf at the Hilltop Country Club last week for the first time. It was an expereince,the course is set up real cool. I was a high school golfer who would have loved to get out of school and walk to go play golf rather than riding 30 minutes on a bus to and from practice everyday. The course is on the grounds of Troup ISD.And after I got finished playing golf I walked to the 19th and had a cold budlight.The bar has what ever you want,and the ladies were so nice.

This is a majestic golf course. The layout appears nestled in the pines and marshes with little man-made interference. It is a tough test from the tips, yet fair. There are no gimmicky holes as the course is right before you. You just have to execute the shot.
